WE LIKE BEING IN CONTROL.

We take pride in producing in-house. This means the marinades, condiments, and spice rubs we use are all produced right here in our kitchen. This way, we are able to stay in full control of freshness, taste and nutritional values. It's more than a little extra work, but you can definitely believe us when we say the results are absolutely worth it.

HOW DO WE MAKE (Y)OUR MEALS

SOURCING

At Primal we have developed 4 completely different set menus, served to you as rotational basis. This not only keeps flavors from getting repetitive, it ensures we are constantly refreshing our inventory and stock. This rotating menu means most materials we’ve ordered for the current week will no longer be needed for following week.. And quite honestly there’s no better guarantee of fresh material being used than having a completely different menu every week!

PREPARATION

Our order cutoff is every Friday at midnight, as we need a little lead time to prepare the meals you’ve ordered. As our turnaround time between the delivery days is short, we are religious about our First-in-First-out (FIFO) policy. We receive multiple shipments of meats, fresh vegetables, and spices every week. The first material received will always be the first to be prepared and sent out, with holding time in our kitchen kept to an absolute minimum.

STORAGE

We prep completely from scratch, with raw materials twice a week. 2 preps, 2 deliveries. No doubt there are shortcuts and cost savings to be had from prepping and delivering less often. We are simply unwilling to compromise. It is the Primal guarantee that whena meal gets to you, it's the epitome of both freshness and flavor; and its tasty goodness will remain untarnished inside your own refregerator for up to 4 days. If you intend on keeping the meals for longer than 4 days, we recommend freezing the meals and defrosting in your refrigerator overnight before heating up for consumption.
